  Tonic-clonic seizure is characterized by a tonic phase and clonic muscle contractions, which was once referred to as a grand mal seizure. Of all the seizure kinds, they are the most feared by patients, families, and onlookers. They are typically linked to either total loss of consciousness or diminished awareness.
