  Primary liver cancer (PLC) is a malignant disease with significant histological and biological diversity. The clinical manifestations of liver cancer are often nonspecific and not evident until cancer has progressed to an advanced stage. These symptoms may comprise unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite, postprandial fullness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or swelling, jaundice (yellowing of the skin and sclera), pruritus (itchy skin), and fatigue. Primary liver cancer is mainly divided into hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC), and HCC-ICC according to pathological type.
