Relapsed or Refractory T-Cell Lymphoma Overview T-cell lymphomas encompass a diverse set of uncommon non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas (NHLs), constituting around 10–15% of all NHL cases. Historically, studies show a bleak prognosis for patients diagnosed with PTCL, marked by frequent relapses and resistance to initial treatments. For those facing relapse, treatment options typically involve ...

Relapsed or Refractory T-Cell Lymphoma – Market Outlook, Epidemiology, Competitive Landscape, and Market Forecast Report – 2023 To 2033

Image
T-cell lymphomas are a heterogeneous group of uncommon non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas (NHLs), accounting for approximately 10–15% of all NHLs. From historical retrospective studies, the prognosis for patients with PTCL is generally poor, with a treatment course characterized by multiple relapses and/or initial refractory disease. Patients with relapsed disease are usually treated with combination chemotherapy such as ICE (ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide) if stem cell transplantation is contemplated as the next step in therapy. However, some regimens or transplants might not be suited for everyone because of their high toxicity levels. Less toxic single-agent therapies are also available and might induce a long-lasting remission in such patients. These therapies include belinostat (Beleodaq), brentuximab vedotin (Adcetris), pralatrexate (Folotyn), and romidepsin (Istodax). These drugs are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for patients who have relapsed or thos...
