  Musculoskeletal Pain conditions are typically characterized by pain (often chronic pain) and limitations in mobility, agility, and functional ability, reducing people's ability to work and participate in social roles, with associated effects on mental wellbeing and, on a broader level, effects on community prosperity. Osteoarthritis, back and neck pain, fractures associated with bone fragility, injuries, and systemic inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis are the most common and disabling musculoskeletal disorders. There is a need for a more comprehensive approach to work retention and rehabilitation that considers the complex and multifaceted nature of presenteeism, absenteeism, and long-term incapacity for work.
