  Psoriasis represents a chronic inflammatory skin condition characterized by erythematous plaques adorned with silvery scales commonly observed on extensor surfaces, the scalp, and the lumbosacral region. The underlying pathophysiology of psoriasis involves infiltrating activated T cells into the skin, stimulating keratinocyte proliferation.
