Gastric Cancer – Market Outlook, Epidemiology, Competitive Landscape, and Market Forecast Report – 2024 To 2034

Gastric Cancer Market Outlook Thelansis’s “Gastric Cancer Market Outlook, Epidemiology, Competitive Landscape, and Market Forecast Report – 2024 To 2034" covers disease overview, epidemiology, drug utilization, prescription share analysis, competitive landscape, clinical practice, regulatory landscape, patient share, market uptake, market forecast, and key market insights under the potential Gastric Cancer treatment modalities options for eight major markets (USA, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, UK, Japan, and China). Gastric Cancer Overview Gastric cancer is the fifth most commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide and the fourth leading cause of cancer-related death, with higher prevalence in men. Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) play a pivotal role in its pathogenesis by binding to FGFRs, triggering intracellular tyrosine phosphorylation and downstream signaling cascades. FGFR2 protein is overexpressed in approximately 20–30% of gastric cancers—particularly in diffuse-type and s...

Gastric Cancer – Market Outlook, Epidemiology, Competitive Landscape, and Market Forecast Report – 2023 To 2033

Image
Gastric cancer ranks the fourth most prevalent malignancy among men and the seventh among women. In the context of this disease, fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) play a critical role by binding to FGFR, subsequently leading to phosphorylation at intracellular tyrosine residues. This, in turn, triggers downstream signaling activation. In roughly 30% of gastric carcinomas, there is an observable overexpression of the FGFR2 protein. This overexpression correlates positively with scirrhous cancer, a diffuse type of cancer, invasion depth, infiltration type, and a less favorable prognosis. Approximately 5-10% of gastric cancer patients exhibit amplification of FGFR2. Several factors are associated with an elevated risk of developing gastric cancer. These factors encompass dietary elements such as high-salt intake from salt-preserved foods, consumption of N-nitroso compounds from dietary sources, smoking, inadequate intake of vitamins A and C, excessive consumption of smoked or cured fo...

Gastric Cancer – Market Outlook, Epidemiology, Competitive Landscape, and Market Forecast Report – 2021 To 2032

Image
Gastric cancer is the fourth most common malignant disease in men and the fifth in women. Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) bind to FGFR, which subsequently undergoes phosphorylation at intracellular tyrosine residues, leading to the activation of downstream signalling. FGFR2 protein overexpression was observed in about 30% of gastric carcinomas and was positively correlated with scirrhous cancer, a diffuse type, invasion depth, infiltration type and a poor prognosis. The amplification of FGFR2 has been evident in approximately 5-10% of gastric cancer patients. FGFR2 amplification occurs more frequently in diffuse-type gastric cancer. However, there was no association found of FGFR2 amplification with histological subtype. Thelansis’s “Gastric Cancer Market Outlook, Epidemiology, Competitive Landscape , and Market Forecast Report – 2021 To 2032" covers disease overview, epidemiology, drug utilization, prescription share analysis, competitive landscape, clinical pr...
