Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare subtype of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs). Mantel cell lymphoma is primarily driven by a chromosomal translocation denoted as t(11;14) (q13;q32), wherein the CCND1 gene becomes juxtaposed with the gene responsible for encoding heavy chain immunoglobulins. This event leads to an abnormal surge in the expression of cyclin D1, a crucial cell cycle regulator, within the lymphoma cells' nucleus. Mantle cell lymphoma primarily afflicts middle-aged adults, with a notable peak around age 65 (spanning from 35 to 85 years). Males experience a higher incidence, with a male-to-female ratio of 4:1. Upon diagnosis, most patients exhibit an extensively disseminated form of the disease. This condition is frequently accompanied by widespread adenopathy (observed in 90% of cases), gastrointestinal complications (occurring in 60% of cases), and bone marrow infiltration (ranging from 55% to 80% of cases). Additionally, individuals may manifest symptoms such a...
