However, within a decade, a variable percentage of patients progress to castration-resistant Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC) (CRPC). Among them, those with metastatic castration-resistant Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC) (MCRPC) face a particularly grim prognosis, with median surviva...

Metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC) – Market outlook, Epidemiology, Competitive Landscape, and Market Forecast Report – 2021 To 2032

Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most prevalent malignancies globally. Most men with newly diagnosed PCa present with localized disease and undergo radical prostatectomy and radiological therapy, followed by androgen deprivation therapy (ADT). Depending on the cancer grade, a variable percentage of these patients experience castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) progression within ten years. Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (MCRPC) patients remain incurable, with a relatively poor prognosis. For men with CRPC, the median survival ranges from 9 to 30 months, and for those with MCRPC, this survival is reduced to 9–13 months. Currently, cytotoxic chemotherapy agents, AR blocking agents, immunotherapies, and radiopharmaceuticals represent effective therapeutic strategies for MCRPC treatment. Taxane chemotherapy (docetaxel and cabazitaxel) is the standard for MCRPC treatment.   Prostate cancer (PCa) incidence ranges from 95 to 112 cases per 100,000 popu...
