  Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a genetic disorder characterized by significant hypertrophy of the myocardium, often accompanied by dynamic left ventricular outflow tract obstruction. Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (oHCM), defined by left ventricular outflow tract obstruction resulting in a peak gradient of at least 30 mm Hg, is observed in around 70% of HCM patients.
